Name: Charlsea Fairchild
Age: 18
Reason for attending festival: Fun and the Games; Mostly Music. She plans on sneaking in to get a better view of the performers, hopefully she'll get one of them to listen to their band's demo. This could be her big break, or just a stupid ploy to get her kicked out of the festival.
Picture of your character:
Personality:
Charlsea is unique, just like everyone else. She's got her own flaws and flaunts that make the boys' turn their heads. The only problem is can they deal with her? With her mood swings and hyperactive need for attention, how does her friends' do it? It's really simple, most of the times her friends don't even realize her mood, since she's gotten so good at hiding it from the world. Charlsea is a classified bipolar. Bipolar basically is described as constant mood swings that could have intervals anywhere from twenty four hours to two-three weeks; sometimes even longer than that. It's been a personal problem that has, with therapy, gotten better since her first diagnose, but everyone knows there's no cure for such a disease. No one's even sure how or why she got it, none of her ancestors were diagnosed with it, so it couldn't be genetic.
On a good day Charlsea loves to hang out and have fun. She isn't afraid to do something stupid for laughs. Having four older brothers also opened her up to the teenage years rather early in life. She experienced her first cigarette hit at the age of eleven; she didn't like it of course and hadn't smoked since, but since she hangs out with so much smokers she's grown accustomed to the nasty smell and the stentch that remains on her clothing. Charlsea also had her first alcoholic beverage at age ten. Although Charlsea doesn't like to smoke cigarettes or drugs, she does go out for the drinking, which has been the best cure for her cronic depressional states. She's trying to quit her drinking, but it only made her feel worse. It's not that she has a terrible drinking problem and goes out everynight; only when she's depressed does she drink, and it's no more than a bottle of the lightest thing, to where she could still be in a little control over herself. Charlsea hates the feeling of not being in control of her body, she doesn't like to say things or do things that could later on affect her, so she doesn't get too waisted, as long as she's got someone to watch over her drinks. Even Charlsea gets carried away at times.
On bad days it's best to leave her alone. She doesn't like to be bothered at this stage, unless it's important. During this time she is most vulnerable to being cruticalize, since she is very self hating and conscious. She gets frusterated more easily and fluently as she tries to maintain her cool with friends and family, but it all eventually causes even more stress and more depression upon herself. Charlsea normally overpowers other people's problems over hers, so she could get away from her problems and help others at the same time, which helps, only slightly, but once she has time to start thinking quietly all her thoughts return only to make her mad at herself once again. Her depression stages have gotten real bad, if they do, she starts referring to other ways than alcohol to take away her pain. She does this by cutting. Not many people know about this, and Charlsea doesn't intend anyone to.

As the sun rose high into the sky and the birds singed their lovely mating song, Travis layed down in the grass, just under a large tree, blocking his whole body from the sunray. It was extremely hot today, temperatures were estimated to be in the mid-90s. It's been hot ever since Travis moved in, it was like the heat wave followed him all the way here from Vegas. He stayed at Vegas for three nights at the Venetian, and it was rather hot there, even in the nighttimes. It was the middle of summer, and he was in the middle of the desert, but when he left he was hoping temperatures in California were better, but they were just as bad. It was so hot and humid that he could feel little droplets of sweat run down from his hair. Having black hair sure didn't keep his head cool on extremely hot days, all it did was absorb the heat even more and keeping it in there, almost like a greenhouse.
Travis flipped open his notebook, where he keeps all his lyrics and poems at. Travis wasn't really here for poetry, but poems usually helped him think better and most songs were created from just a few lines of poetry. There was also some side notes, little observances he's notived in this strange new town. How there wasn't many people, even on mid day, just walking around, and the streets were dead quiet. They probably were all at work or on vacation, but still, it was a little weird and would take awhile to get ajusted to. He flipped to a blank page in his book, and pulled out his pencil. Tapping the pencil violently on the notebook, Travis thought long and hard, but nothing came to mind, not even a simple couplet.
He needed some inspiration, something that would make his creative juices flow. They hadn't been working at all lately and Travis was getting sick and tired of it. Usually his songs and lyrics came easy to him, it was like second nature, but he can't even think of a simple two lined poem. As he looked around the park for any inspirations, he noticed the small little boys playing in the playground. They looked jolly and happy, as if there wasn't a fear in the world. Little smiles and happiness usually gave him some happy verse, but not even that was working.
What he needed was a break. It wasn't like he needed to be popular that fast. He needed to find soemthing else to do but roam around the streets and recreational stuff during the day. So he has a few friends he could hang out with, but he doesn't like to bother with them. Travis just needed something, someone to make him take a break from it all, he needed a new experience in his life that would make him want to write a smash hit, something that would move him right over to Hollywood. Where would he find a miracle like that in the middle of a park?
