Name: Jake Gyllenhaal
Age: 26
Reason for attending festival:
Jake was just traveling through the city, and thought it would be fun to stay for the festival. He likes to listen to all sorts of bands, and plus he's also to support the small city's big event with an academy award winner present.

Personality:
Jake is a nice guy. He's not mean, but he's not exactly an angel. Of course the press has no claims about his "bad" side to him, but if you know him well enough you'll easily figure out what you like and don't like about him. Jake would much rather remain unnoticed, yet he's bound to run into at least one person who reconizes him. It doesn't bother him that random people come up and want to take pictures, meet him, hug him, he's gotten everything. He's rather used to the instant popularity, but he doesn't let that go to his head. A lot of celebrities get all big headed when they become famous and well known, but not Jake. He only does it for the pure fun of acting. If he wasn't good at it he would just be another person which everyone will probably ignore.
Just like his Donnie Darko character Donnie is rather absent from the world. In a way he thinks almost exactly like the Donnie character, which made him so perfect for the job, minus all the schizophrenic saving the world sort of feeling. He is generally aware of what's going on, and not afraid to upset someone for his opinion. He doesn't mean to make the other person look stupid, he just likes to debate things. He is one of the guys who likes asking questions and gaining knowledge, but he knows when to stop. He isn't a total nerd or a geek, but he does care about learning and being the best he possibly could.
At a normal rate, it takes Jake about several weeks to develop his character. After reading the skit estimated about five or six times, to fully get the character's meanings as to why he says certain things and how Jake should emphasize some lines that will justify his thoughts. Jake is a slow learner, it takes him about five weeks to have all his lines down, yet he still isn't 100% perfect, but he tries. He is, however, a good obeserver, who likes to watch and listen in on other people's conversations. It does get him into rather a lot of problems, but he's always curious.

As the sun rose high into the sky and the birds singed their lovely mating song, Travis layed down in the grass, just under a large tree, blocking his whole body from the sunray. It was extremely hot today, temperatures were estimated to be in the mid-90s. It's been hot ever since Travis moved in, it was like the heat wave followed him all the way here from Vegas. He stayed at Vegas for three nights at the Venetian, and it was rather hot there, even in the nighttimes. It was the middle of summer, and he was in the middle of the desert, but when he left he was hoping temperatures in California were better, but they were just as bad. It was so hot and humid that he could feel little droplets of sweat run down from his hair. Having black hair sure didn't keep his head cool on extremely hot days, all it did was absorb the heat even more and keeping it in there, almost like a greenhouse.
Travis flipped open his notebook, where he keeps all his lyrics and poems at. Travis wasn't really here for poetry, but poems usually helped him think better and most songs were created from just a few lines of poetry. There was also some side notes, little observances he's notived in this strange new town. How there wasn't many people, even on mid day, just walking around, and the streets were dead quiet. They probably were all at work or on vacation, but still, it was a little weird and would take awhile to get ajusted to. He flipped to a blank page in his book, and pulled out his pencil. Tapping the pencil violently on the notebook, Travis thought long and hard, but nothing came to mind, not even a simple couplet.
He needed some inspiration, something that would make his creative juices flow. They hadn't been working at all lately and Travis was getting sick and tired of it. Usually his songs and lyrics came easy to him, it was like second nature, but he can't even think of a simple two lined poem. As he looked around the park for any inspirations, he noticed the small little boys playing in the playground. They looked jolly and happy, as if there wasn't a fear in the world. Little smiles and happiness usually gave him some happy verse, but not even that was working.
What he needed was a break. It wasn't like he needed to be popular that fast. He needed to find soemthing else to do but roam around the streets and recreational stuff during the day. So he has a few friends he could hang out with, but he doesn't like to bother with them. Travis just needed something, someone to make him take a break from it all, he needed a new experience in his life that would make him want to write a smash hit, something that would move him right over to Hollywood. Where would he find a miracle like that in the middle of a park?
What you need: "I, Kristine, have read the rules and will obey them. I understand the consequences of breaking the rules of Tombstone Fest. and understand and agree to the consequences."
