Okay so maybe Jon wasn't in the best of moods. Brendon and Ryan had told him to meet them at the waterfront for some reason, but after idly wandering around for about an hour they never showed up. He had gotten a text saying that they decided to just stay in the tourbus. So, they make me get dressed on our one day off for awhile and drag myself down to the beach? he thought, rolling his eyes angrily. "Ohmygaw!! Look, it's the bassist for Panic! At the Disco!" He kept on walking when he heard some girl announce that to the world, pretty much. He heard footsteps, advancing towards him. He turned around, putting sunglasses on quickly, not like it'd help much, but had an idea. The girls, a group of five, stopped infront of him, holding Sharpies and notebooks. "Are you the bassist for Panic! At the Disco?" one of them asked excitedly. Wow, they're smart. Can't they tell? he thought, but instead he smiled. "No, I just got surgery to look like the dude. My name's Aaron, but I'm totally jealous of Jon. I mean, he gets to hang out with Ryan and Brendon all day. What a life, right?" Jon asked, smiling broadly and talking fast and excitedly. The girls raised their brows, but walked away. He started to walk away, laughing quietly to himself. Messing with people was always fun, right? Riight.

attention at that. Pete went back to his phone to see if Jon had his on, but he wasn't online on AIM. Pete sighed and got up, wishing that for once he could have a bit of quiet in his life. Pete zipped the black hoodie up and put his Sidekick into his pocket, making a beeline straight for Jon. "Will you sign my thong?" Pete joked, pulling Jon away from the crowd and down toward the beach again. Pete glanced back to see if the girls were following, and inevitably they were. "Jon, why don't you sign a few things?" Pete asked. "This could be the highlight of their week - year, even," Pete said. "I promise you they won't, like, rape you, I'm more likely to do that than them," Pete joked.[/blockquote][/ul]

Well, the girls had second thoughts, apparently, seeing as they were following him now. They were chattering excitedly, and he knew he should sign something, but he was really in a bad mood, considering the fact he was being pulled all around New York City by Ryan and Brendon. Will you sign my thong? Jon burst out laughing, turning around to face Pete. "Sure, but will you sign my condom?" Jon joked, stealing a glance at the girls, who were eyeing them skeptically. He followed Pete away from the crowd, but they were following, of course. "Because, even though it would be rude to not sign anything, I'd much rather not yell at them because they make a comment I don't like or something," he said, shrugging slightly. "Well, I knew they wouldn't rape me, I just knew you would be around somewhere, and most likely you'd just join in," he joked. "I can see the headlines now, 'Panic! and Fall Out Boy bassist seen butt seckzing, arrested for public exposure'," he added.

Pete joked, glancing around again and then back at Jon. "Do you think they'll buy us icecream if we hang out with them for a bit? I didn't bring any money and it looks great," Pete said, eyeing an icecream shop now and then looking back at Jon. "C'mon, make friendly with the girls and get some ice cream, it's all good. C'mon, can we? Can we?" Pete asked enthusiastically. In all honesty he didn't see why Jon was so adament not to talk with the girls, neither of them really had anything better to do, and if they could get free ice cream out of it then all the better. Pete looked back at the girls again, who were still following them. Pete was a little shorter than Jon himself, and he crossed his arms across his chest. By this time the crowd was growing. "This is exactly how I planned spending today," Pete said, taking the sun glasses off and holding them in his hand as he walked on. How amusing must this be for other people to see? Two men walking across the beach followed by a group of girls. "Jon, let's talk to them for fuck's sake!"[/blockquote][/ul]

"You are, I was just hoping you'd make an exception just this once," Jon said. "Ooh, ice cream. I think they would, and well, I ought to just stop being so anti-social, eh?" he said, shrugging. Right now, he was confused, as always. But when was he ever really /not/ confused? One minute he wants nothing more then to get away from the girls, and now he sort of wants to hang out with them. Not because of the free ice-cream, no, but because he could imagine how it would be if you came across someone you idolized or whatever and be given the cold shoulder. "Fine, let's be nice to them, maybe they will actually buy us ice-cream, you never know," Jon said. He turned around to face the girls, smiling and watching as they giggled excitedly. "Hey. I assume, by what you're holding, there's stuff you want signed?" he asked, and watched as one obviously outgoing girl hopped in front and held out the piece of paper and Sharpie. "Alright, just don't get pushy," he said, pretty much knowing it was useless to even say that, but atleast he tried right? He quickly scrawled his name across the paper and handed it back to the girl, keeping the Sharpie because the rest of the girls seemingly didn't have anything to write with. "You don't mind if I keep this for a bit, do you?" he asked the girl, who shook her head no.

Pete asked, turning to a girl who was literally shoving a bit of paper in his face. Pete didn't have anything to write with, but another girl ran over, shoving a pen and paper under his nose. Pete took the pen and leaned forward to the girl. He supposed Jon was a little less experienced in the area of doing signings and what not, not to mention they didn't sign anything after shows anymore due to just horrific things happening. For a minute Pete felt a little proud of his fans and then turned back to the girl. "What's your name?" Pete asked loudly, nodding when the girl told him her name was Kate. Pete quickly wrote on the piece of paper, 'to Kate, love Pete', and handed it back, holding the pen as he moved onto the next girl. He was feeling a little claustrophobic now, and he moved closer to Jon. "Having fun?" Pete asked. "Look at them, it's like Christmas has come early," Pete grinned, signing another piece of paper to a 'Shannon'.[/blockquote][/ul]

"No, I can't say I'm very experienced with it," Jon said. "But I'll manage," he added. "What's your name?" he asked a short, brunette girl, and she squeaked out 'Linda'. Well, she wasn't very social, obviously, but Jon didn't really mind. He scrawled down 'To Linda, love Jon' and handed it back to her. She stepped away from the crowd and stayed off to the side, sitting on a bench. The crowd was growing in number, and he was sort of surprised at the amount of people at the watefront, but he also knew it was Spring Break, so it was to be expected. He got another piece of paper shoved under his nose, and he grabbed it, hearing the girl's name as 'Kelly' and scrawled down the same note as before. "Well I bet for them it is like Christmas," Jon said. "I'd bet they'd be even crazier if Brendon and Ryan had actually made an appearance," he added.

Pete mused, turning to look at Jon after a while. "Brendon and Ryan need some time alone, y'know," Pete joked, leaning forward to another girl and signing the paper. "Besides, you want to hear the pitter-patter of tiny feet, right?" Pete smirked, signing some more paper. He was quite surprised when a girl flung herself at him and gave him a hug, but he returned it all the same and looked at Jon with a smile on his face. "Don't tell me your ego isn't sucking up the attention like a fucking sponge," Pete told him. He signed some more papers and turned one over to see exactly what he was signing, which turned out to be a McDonald's napkin. Pete rose his eyebrows but signed the napkin all the same. The crowd was growing rather than dispersing now. Pete was kind of glad he didn't have any security around right now, but he would probably grow to regret that right now. A couple of girls was alright, but the amount of girls that were on the beach now was becoming quite big, and the girls at the front were literally killing each other. "Can you move back?" Pete asked, handing the paper back to 'Shel'. "Every one step back," Pete said, a few very rehearsed lines. He usually only had to say it at shows though, but thankfully the girls started stepping back a little bit so they weren't basically being squashed together anymore. Pete looked up when he saw the flash of someone's camera and he glanced at Jon. [/blockquote][/ul]

"That's exactly what I'm saying. Spencer's better, he tastes like you, only sweeter," Jon joked. "Okay, just go on and put images in my innocent head. And no, I don't want to hear the pitter-patter of tiny feet. I'd mean I'd have to baby sit," he added. The fan within earshot of him raised a brow, looking at him like he was crazy. He chuckled a bit, then signed a paper for a girl named 'Cindy'. He glanced towards the bench, seeing that Linda was still sitting there, obviously hoping once the crowd dispersed that she'd have more time to talk to them. He watched a girl flung herself at Pete and hugged him, smiling at her when she turned around and hugged him, too. "What's your name?" he asked her. "Layla," she answered. He took the paper and signed it, 'To Layla: you rock, Jon'. He didn't know why he signed the paper different then the rest, but something made Jon think she was more then just a teenie. Obviously meeting Jon and Pete had made her really, really happy, and not in the 'omgz I met the hawties Pete and Jon!' way. He smiled at her and handed her the paper back, then went back to signing everyone else's paper.
"Well, yeah, it pretty much is," Jon said. He kept signing stuff and chatting idly with the fans. Though they were getting rowdy, as if they'd never get the chance to talk to them if they didn't get there now. Truth was they'd probably be there awhile, so he thought they should all just stop before someone got hurt. He heard Pete command they move back, and they did gradually. He sighed deeply, happy to have them move back a bit. "So what's the rest of the band up to?" he asked Pete, glancing at him again.

Pete joked, signing something else and watching as the first male approached he'd seen all through the crowd. Surprised, but not unpleasantly so, Pete signed the paper, continuing to talk to Jon as he did so. "Ah, but perhaps you can be Godfather or something... or Uncle, how does that sound? Uncle Jon?" Pete asked, looking over at the younger, but taller man. "Pervy Uncle Jon," he joked, signing another piece of paper. More people were arriving now, this time armed with album lyric books and posters. Pete could only guess that the girls trailing them had been there for the festival, and then phoned anyone else who was attending with them to inform them about who they'd just met. Pete leaned forward as another person hugged him, and he continued to sign things. By the looks of things they'd found something that'd pass the time for a bit. "My band? I'll take a wild guess and say Pictionary," Pete smirked, signing another piece of paper and handing it back to it's respective owner. "Or maybe they're taking a walk on the wild side and playing Cluedo, who knows?" Pete joked. "What about Spencer? We've pretty much confirmed what Brendon and Ryan are doing."[/blockquote][/ul]

"I see you're imitating Brent now," Jon joked. "Now whoever said I was a perv? You're the one with the nickname 'P3d0', might I remind you," he smirked, signing more papers. By now it was just routine, even though he was still very bad at connecting to his fans, even though he was trying to fix that the best he could. He signed a paper for a girl named 'Kit' and handed it back, looking around as people came armed with other objects such as lyric books and posters. Word traveled fast, no? "Pictionary, Cluedo.. all very interesting, I guess," Jon said. "I think Spencer went shopping with Haley, she's visiting. Probably buying himself more man-thongs and bras," he joked.

Pete joked. "May I remind you that you're the only person who actually calls me 'pedo'," Pete said, looking around at Jon again. "I've had my fair share of nicknames but that just takes the biscuit," Pete smirked. He turned back to signing things, trying to keep himself from snapping by talking with Jon, right now it was the only thing keeping him in reality as he signed poster after poster, and finally the crowd started to look a little smaller. Linda, however, was still sitting around, now with the girl who'd hugged them both. Pete signed a poster of Fall Out Boy, and couldn't resist drawing little devil horns onto Joe. He handed it back with a smile and continued to work through the crowd, things getting shoved in his face from all directions. "Don't knock it 'till you've tried it, just because we don't spend our free time when we're not performing pretending we're performing," Pete said, knowing full well Panic! we're very into playing Guitar Hero. "You should come to our tour bus, like, Fall Out Boy versus Panic! At The Disco game night, we'd kick your asses," Pete said. "Just leave your thongs and whips at home, Jon, I don't mean those kind of games."[/blockquote][/ul]

Jon yawned, and one girl's eyes widened and she asked quickly, "Oh my gosh, am I boring you?! I'm boring you! Oh my gosshhh I am so so so so sorryyy!" She smoothed her blond hair down on each side, worridly wringing her hands and staring at him with big green eyes. "Don't worry, I'm not bored. Spencer and Brendon kept me up all night playing Guitar Hero," he said, giving her a smile and watching as she calmed down... slightly. She was still as jumpy as a rabbit, oh well. He turned to Pete, after signing the girl's poster, and joked, "I'm not the one preying on innocent young girls, Pete." Jon smirked. "The only reason I call you 'pedo' is because it's true," he added. The crowd was growing thinner, obviously some people were losing interest and not sticking around. Fine enough for him, really. He watched as some girl timidly approached him and held out a poster, saying, "My name's Kaylie. Tell Brendon I said happy birthday, even though it is a day early." Jon gave her a smile and signed the poster, handing it back and saying, "I'll make sure to tell him, okay?" Kaylie beamed, and scurried back through the crowd, towards the beach area. "Well, I think it's safe to say I ought to stick to bass. Apparently I'm not cut out for virtual guitar playing," he joked. "Well ruin all my fun, why don't you? It's the only way I know how to have fun," he smirked.

Pete joked. "We all know full well what Brendon and Spencer kept you up doing, and I suppose in some ways it was like Guitar Hero... you do need to press the right buttons, I'll give you that," He said. Pete was glad the crowd was thinning, it was stuff like this that resulted in people getting hurt and injured - and it wasn't always the fans that were the injured ones. "I'm feeling claustrophobic," Pete muttered. "'Preying' on young girls and 'playing music' to young girls is apparently the same thing now," Pete said in response to the 'pedo' nickname. "I know you just stand there and pretend to play, Jon, but you have to understand... real musicians write and play music... You're just a tool in the world," Pete joked. He looked at the girl Kaylie and smirked when she said to tell Brendon happy birthday, he looked at Jon and then signed another poster. "I totally forgot Brendon's birthday is tomorrow," Pete said. It was the eleventh today, wasn't it? Pete frowned and carried on signing things as he spoke. "Tell him happy birthday from me," Pete said. "Infact, I think we should throw him a sweet sixteen," Pete joked. He signed another poster and the girl frowned at him, clearly thinking Pete had got the wrong age for Brendon. Of course, he hadn't, he knew full well that Brendon would be turning twenty.[/blockquote][/ul]
