You get my respect,
But we don’t connect.

Everything that had happened in the past few days had been a relative blur for Hayley, it was almost as if she'd fallen off the side of the planet- only to regain herself and come back, and then to be told rumors. Now, don't get her wrong Hayley didn't like to listen to rumors at all and normally she wouldn't. Although when they happened to be really, really serious ones she changed her mind completely. It didn't seem to be made up though, not one tiny bit. Considering she couldn't find Pete wherever she looked, nor Becks, everyone had exactly the same story. Not that they would lie or joke about this sort of thing, she supposed, but still Hayley was intent on making sure that this was right. Hayley had been busy, sure, but she would never ever really do something else, when she had something as important as to make sure that her friends were okay. friends came first, it was always the way it had been for her and it was the way things would continue to be, she was sure.
Brushing her hair out of her eyes, Hayley continued to walk down the crowded, incredibly crowded street almost glad for this fact as people seemed to be taking no notice to her right now, because they were far to caught up in their own lives; and to busy living it fast paced to worry about who she was or what she did. Hayley almost liked these moments, in a way but it didn't always have the good advantages. Hayley was in a really unusual mood, Hayley had sort of ignored everything else going on around her; other people's dramas and had focused on what she had to do instead of it.. and now look what had happened, well done Hayley! although she couldn't pin the blame on herself, it was highly unlikely she'd of been able to correct the situation now matter how much she had tried.
It was only really as she neared the hospital that her nerves kicked in, she wasn't quite up to the idea of seeing one of her friend's hurt, because her friends really did mean the world to her. Hayley didn't tend to be a nervous person, but right now she was feeling it more than ever. Hayley frowned deeply, sucking in her bottom lip afterward and gnawing on it, although a lot more than she had intended too. Releasing the intense bite on her lip, Hayley squarely looked up the big building. Hayley didn't really feel that she should be worried as much, it was definitely going to be worse on Pete.. or Becks, or whoever else, but somehow she couldn't get rid of the feeling.
Stepping inside the doors Hayley watched people yet again rush around her, ready to make sure that someone was okay- Hayley didn't quite see, although she just noticed someone whirring past her on a stretcher, making her almost automatically jump out of the way. Hayley rubbed one of her eyes, tiredly before finally making her way the counter. Unusually no-one was before her, although there were alot of people sitting down and about the room. Hayley managed a small half-smile at the woman, she seemed a little bit unnerved herself. "Hello: I was wondering whether-" Hayley began politely, only to be cut off by the woman, raising a finger to her lips and answering the phone. "Yes? Hello, UNY hospital, Lauren speaking." in a very stuck-up sounding accent.
Hayley narrowed her eyes, "Excuse me, It's important.. I was wondering whether Pe-" Hayley said, still trying to keep her nice-sounding accent, she didn't normally interrupt people, but this seemed a little bit more important than some person on the other end of a phone and some stuck up receptionist. Slowly the woman put down her phone, flexing her fingers and rolling her eyes. Surprising, she looked like the type that would just about faint at any proper form of work. "Excuse me." the woman replied. "Apparently I already have, I was wondering whether it'd be possible for someone to direct me toward Peter Wentz's or William Beckett's room? I heard that they were involved in a-" Hayley spoke slowly, before once more being cut off. "Nick, could you please take her to their room?" Lauren asked, summoning some boy who without another word began to almost march Hayley off to some room. "Here we are," as he knocked the door he opened it ever so slightly, to see whether he would get a response or a word from Pete. "Pete?" Nick asked, seeing first whether he was even up to visitors.
